What Should I Wear widget
October 29, 2007
Google has these awesome, easy to create website “widgets”.
I want to create a widget that has 2 panels.
Choose from all of my shirts and pants, and vote on what I should wear tomorrow.
If you want me to wear a shirt of yours (for example, a company logo shirt), just send it to me and I will add it to the set.
Housecare for Foreclosures
October 28, 2007
Provide banks a one-stop shop for maintenance and repair of houses in foreclosure.
Lawn care, periodic cleaning of property, scheduled visits and 24 call service for emergencies.
Wire Your Business
October 27, 2007
I would like to see a business makeover show where a team of tech, web, and design folk descend on a needy business, and turn them around in one week.
The businesses should be non-profits or do-good companies that need a little help.
The crew would include hardware, software, website, and design services. A Nerd Herd as they say on Chuck.
New computers and software and training to run the business.
New devices (phones, copiers, specialty devices, pdas, barcode readers)
New website for the business
New design (signage, logo, letterhead, business cards, email, marketing, web design)
Marketing and Business Development (search engine, directories, social networking, etc)
Donation and product placement provides much of the items.
Spinoff: a rentable team of experts that can come and do this for your business for pay. Maybe a franchise. Certification, training, uniforms.
21st Century Tinker
October 21, 2007
I’d love to see a young tech guy rent a cart at the mall, or better yet a stall at a local flea market, and provide modern digital services to people without a digital clue.
Picture an old lady bringing a carousel of slides, and leaving with a DVD slideshow.
Part adviser, part technician, part “guy with the cool gear”.
A service that replaces what some families have with their 14 year old nephew.
Old Trailer Reconditioning
October 15, 2007
Here is an idea for a young go-getter with some mechanical skills.
Small teardrops. Big old aluminum pull-behinds. There is definitely a market out there for yuppies who love the retro look and lifestyle.

Provide a service reconditioning old metal skinned trailers to livable condition, either stock or with all the modern amenities.
Bad ones sell really cheap, and good ones sell for a lot of money.
Provide a community, website, and get-togethers for people living “the lifestyle”
